Tell Governor Rendell you need him to protect tens of thousands of people in Pottstown and their children for generations to come.
Ask him to WITHDRAW DEP'S POLLUTION PERMITS to Occidental Chemical and Waste Management in Pottstown because these permits would concentrate some of the most hazardous chemicals known to mankind at Occidental, such as dioxin and radiation, in addition to vinyl chloride and other toxic chemicals with their even more dangerous combinations.
These DEP pollution permits will also result in the building of an extremely toxic, corrosive, explosive, 5.5 mile pipeline in this heavily populated area. Tens of thousands of people would be forced to live with the unnecessary risks of a catastrophe associated with this pipeline for decades to come.
The hazardous Pottstown Landfill gas pipeline would also provide terrorist with yet another very dangerous target in this area, one that could be avoided with his action to deny these DEP pollution permits to Occidental and Waste Management in Pottstown.
Contact your State Representative and State Senator too. Ask them to take action immediately on behalf of you, their constituents. Ask them to also contact the Governor to withdraw these permits which jeopardize the future of so many area residents.
